Baker arrives having departed Lower Breck last month and he will join up with Dave Dempsey’s staff ahead of pre-season training which gets underway later this month.

Dean has coached in the Northern Premier League with Prescot Cables and is currently manager of St Helens Town’s Under-21s side.

“Dean will be a welcomed addition to the coaching team as goalkeeper coach,” manager Dempsey said.

“He is a local lad who has experience at this level and he is firmly on board with our vision and expectations of the upcoming season.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming Dean and getting started in pre-season.”
