Widnes Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of central midfielder Kristian Holt.

The 28-year-old moves to the DCBL Stadium after spending the previous three seasons at Bury AFC, scoring seven goals in 77 games.

Kris reunites with manager Michael Ellison who he played under at Runcorn Linnets, making almost 100 appearances and winning the North West Counties Premier Division.

Holt has played for both Linnets and Atherton Collieries in the Northern Premier League and has captained West Didsbury & Chorlton.

Kris is an athletic player who adds another impressive option for boss Ellison in the midfield department.
