Widnes Football Club is pleased to confirm the signing of Nathan Caine on an initial one-month loan deal.

Caine, 21, arrives from Atherton Collieries having made 32 appearances in the NPL Premier Division this season, scoring three goals.

A forward by trade, Nathan made his senior debut for Mansfield Town in the EFL Trophy, totalling three total outings for the Stags, scoring once.

He has since had loan spells at Nuneaton Borough, Ilkeston Town and Sutton Coldfield Town before signing permanently for Stafford Rangers in the summer of 2022.

Nathan featured 19 times in the NPL Premier Division last campaign for both Stafford and then Stalybridge Celtic, finding the net twice.
