Widnes Football Club is pleased to confirm the signing of central defender Will Bell.

The 28-year-old has featured throughout pre-season thus far for the Whites and has now penned terms ahead of the new campaign.

Will progressed through the youth ranks at Morecambe before joining Welsh side Bala Town in August 2014.

He spent two seasons at Maes Tegid before moving to Aberystwyth Town in the summer of 2016.

A return to Bala and spells at both Rhyl and Colwyn Bay followed before Will returned to England in August 2021, signing for Bootle.

Will played 39 times for the Bucks and his performances earned him a contract at Macclesfield ahead of the 2022/23 season.

He returned to Bootle in the autumn and ended the campaign at Skelmersdale United.
