Widnes Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Jack Dunn, who joins the club on an initial one-month loan deal from Warrington Town.
Dunn, 23, made his debut and scored the winner in Saturday's 1-0 win at Skelmersdale United.
The Liverpool academy product is an ex-England youth international who has represented his country at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 level.
The forward graduated through the Liverpool academy ranks, getting his first taste of the first team in a post-season friendly against Shamrock Rovers in 2014. He came on in the 79th minute to replace Fabio Borini and then scored three minutes later to wrap up a dominant 4–0 victory.
He left Anfield in the summer of 2017 to join Tranmere Rovers on a permanent deal having spent the second half of 2016-17 on loan at Rovers, making eight appearances.
Dunn had previous loan spells away from the Premier League club at Cheltenham Town, Burton Albion and Morecambe.
He joined Warrington in the summer after his release from Tranmere, and has gone on to make a handful of appearances for Paul Carden's Yellows.
