Widnes Football Club have completed the double signing of defender Phil Mooney (pictured, left) and forward Alfons Fosu-Mensah.
Both players have signed are in contention for selection in Saturday's Evo-Stik League Division One West trip to Kendal Town.
Central defender, Phil, arrives from Skelmersdale United having made almost 200 appearances for the club across two spells.
After breaking into the First Team at United as a teenager, Phil moved on to Warrington Town before having further stints at Runcorn Linnets and Atherton Collieries.
He returned to the Blues in 2014, and has since been named club captain.
Alfons joins the club after leaving Welsh Premier League side Llandudno last month.
The 24-year-old forward began his career for FC Oss in his home country of the Netherlands, making seven appearances in the second-tier before moving to the UK.
Alfons has had spells with National League and Northern Premier League sides, including Southport, Ashton United, North Ferriby United and Marine.
In 2017, Alfons moved to Airbus UK Broughton, scoring 16 goals in 22 appearances last season before moving to Llandudno, where he made four appearances and spent time on loan at Denbigh Town.
He is the brother of on loan Fulham defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
