Widnes have been handed a tie against Everton in the last eight of the Liverpool Senior Cup.

The Toffees have won this competition 46 times, which is more than any other club.

And this will be the third meeting between the two sides at this stage of the competition, with an Everton side managed by David Unsworth and featuring Tom Davies and JonJoe Kenny running out 8-0 winners in November 2015.

Widnes returned the favour with a 3-2 win in February 2019, with George Lomax scoring a brace.

A date and venue for the fixture will be announced in due course.
